Pursuant to the requirements of the Directive of the European Parliament and of the Council on reducing the impact of certain plastic products on the environment (Art. 5), from 03.07.2021, a ban on the placing on the market of certain single-use plastic products, including inter alia Cups for beverages made of expanded polystyrene.
Our company offers BIO cups made of cellulose pulp, obtained from quickly renewable raw materials of plant origin. The barrier is provided by a biopolymer coating which, like the main structural component, is of natural origin and is biodegradable.
