As part of the THINK GREEN program, Coffee Service company decided to sow a flower meadow in the production area.
We decided to turn a demanding lawn into a practical, flowery meadow. Flowering grasslands do not require regular mowing, watering or fertilization, and they has aesthetic use.
They support wildlife – thanks to its richness and diversity, meadows are place to live for many useful insects and other small animals. Within them, there is created an ecosystem that is very beneficial for the surroundings and the natural environment. Field flowers are also very important for honey bees.
Therefore, they are not only an aesthetic choice, but also an ecological one. Ecologists recommend flower meadows as a solution that is more resistant to water shortages, which, even in dry periods, do not lose their attractiveness.
By producing products that are biodegradable and recyclable, the company will continue to look for alternative ways to reuse, recycle and recover waste, or to reduce waste in landfills.
